CCBC (Czech Coalition for Biodiversity Conservation)
CCBC comprises various projects and NGOs active in the field of biodiversity conservation and development assistance. By organizing conferences, workshops and networking events we create space for exchanging experiences, information and ideas to better understand the challenges of today’s world and promote cooperation among our members.
Together with our member organizations we try to improve the quality of life in various ways.
We are present on four continents, with our headquarters in Prague.
We organize and promote voluntary work in the Czech Republic and abroad.
We focus on educational and cultural events.
United Vision, o.s. primarily sends well-trained volunteers to developing countries (in the first stage - Mexico and Indonesia) who teach (free of charge) English using highly effective method. The help is aimed at rural areas with some tourist potential. The intent is that local people could make use of the knowledge of English at labour-market or they could start off their own business activities connected with (eco)tourism.
The center is located on an area of 2 ha near the Kabankalan City on the Negros island, which is in the terms of protection of nature one of the most interesting islands of the Philippines. Facilities at the center are very simple and in the first place functional. There are simple breeding aviaries, the fledging and rehabilitation releasing aviary, paddocks, area for feed preparation, quarantine and a simple infirmary.
Kedjom-Keku is a non-governmental organization (NGO) whose purpose is to support education in the same area
in northwestern Cameroon. Our association wants to save the unique mountain mist forest with the development of education and local culture. Mountain mist forest is constantly threatened by unsustainable agriculture. Kedjom-Keku wants to achieve its goals especially by building a school
in Big Babanki area, which will also serve to educate local people in agricultural and environmental issues, as well as scientific-research work.

The main goal of the VSF-cz is providing the developmental and humanitarian assistance/help abroad as well as in the Czech Republic, in the area of veterinary and human medicine, agriculture and community development.
Seized ivory on the black market all around the world has one common feature – it is getting smaller and smaller. Due to the rising price of the commodity and the fact that elephants are already wiped out most of Africa, poachers are nowadays killing even females and babies. Something which would have been unthinkable few years ago.
ISCP establish a close and good relationship with ZOO Liberec in Czech republic in implementing programs
in the field of in situ conservation of wildlife species, in Philiphina Taralak Foundation which is a foundation breeding birds
as partners in terms of species of birds (Aves) and ProFauna Indonesia,
which is one spirit of the early formation
of this organization.
The NGO LESTARI dedicates its activities to topics related to environmental protection and its sustainable use.
We focus primarily on the issue of palm oil industry and its impacts on nature and the lives of people in developing countries. Public is informed about this issue through awareness and educational events within our campaign CHANCE TO CHANGE.
Save sea turtle ensures the survival
of sea turtles through research, education, training, advocacy and the protection
of the natural habitats upon which they depend.
We lend money to poor people under fair conditions while respecting their business plans and initiatives. Our goal is to build confident individuals independent
of outside help. We believe that
the prosperity of an individual leads to
the prosperity of the entire society.
Our activities aim to link two worlds:
the one where capital dwells and the one where capital is lacking.
We are a nonprofit organization that supports the self-help efforts of the poor residing on the plateau of Utengule/Usangu, Tanzania, East Africa. Our most extensive project, entitled “Supporting Farmers” combines education and the provision
of microloans while promoting sustainable methods of land management.We help conceptually and over the long term, with
an emphasis on the sustainability of all
our activities. Pro-active, hardworking,
and honest people receive our help.
Faunus meets this mission primarily through supporting the conservation activities of the Liberec Zoo and by promoting the environmental and social activities of other entities. Through these activities, the association aims to increase mutual understanding and respect as well as a passion for nature in people; it also helps them acquire habits for protecting and preserving natural systems.
Bikes for Africa
The company Czech Bikes for Gambian Schools was founded in Ostrava in 2012. It was inspired by charitable organisations Jole Rider and the movement Bicycles for Humanity as well as personal experience of the founders. The mission of the organisation is to open the path to education for children in Africa. This path will be made possible by bicycles donated by people in the Czech Republic. Bicycles delivered to Africa help to increase overall literacy, chances of employment as well as the civil status of local people.
Throughout all archipelago we initiate Eco-Libraries and provide children's books
in Indonesian language about animals, plants and environment to make the kids curious about Nature so they would fall
in love with it and protect it.
Moreover we're developing Eco-Activities and games that inspire children to have sustainable lifestyles. They will become eco-literate which is an important value
for humans in order to thrive on this planet.
